Legal information for everyone
You are about to sign something you cannot fully read.
ClauseWise reads it with you: a plain-English brief, which clauses tilt against you, and every claim backed by the exact words from your document.
Nothing is stored. Your document is processed in memory and personal details are masked before analysis.

How it works
From first read to a better deal
- Step 1
Upload
A PDF, Word file, text or pasted clauses. Phone numbers, emails and ID numbers are masked before anything reaches the model.
- Step 2
Analyse
A plain-English brief, every clause marked by who it favours, the risks ranked, and every deadline on a timeline.
- Step 3
Act
Ask questions answered only from the document, compare it with a fair version, draft polite pushback, or prepare for a lawyer.

The Tilt Meter
See at a glance which way the deal leans
Every clause is labelled as favouring you, neutral, or favouring the other side. ClauseWise then turns those labels into a score with a fixed, published formula. The model never picks the number, so the same clauses always give the same score.
Balance score
33/ 100
Tilted against you
Many important clauses favour the other side. Read the risks before signing.
Calculated by ClauseWise from each verified clause's tilt, weighted by how much that type of clause matters. The model does not choose this number.
- Favours you
- Neutral
- Favours the other side
- Heavily favours the other side
Example: the saved analysis of the bundled rental sample.
Verified evidence
Every claim comes with a receipt
Language models can sound certain and still be wrong. ClauseWise makes the model quote your document for every clause, risk and answer, then checks each quote word for word. Anything it cannot find is hidden and counted, never shown as fact.
Maintenance and Repairs
You are responsible for paying the monthly society maintenance charge. You must also pay for all repairs to the flat, including major structural repairs, plumbing, electrical issues, and repairs to appliances provided by the Licensor, no matter what caused the damage.
Show source
The Licensee shall bear the cost of all repairs to the Premises, including structural repairs, plumbing, electrical wiring and repairs to appliances supplied by the Licensor, whatever the cause
Verified word-for-word in your document, characters 2,157–2,350.
Private before it is clever
Emails, phone numbers, Aadhaar-like and PAN-like numbers are replaced with tokens before the model sees the text, then restored for you.
Negotiation kit
For each unfair clause, fairer wording and a short, polite message you can send as it is.
Answers only from your document
Q&A that quotes its sources, says so when the document is silent, and declines to give legal advice.
Compare against fair
See what changed between two versions, or how yours differs from a balanced agreement of the same type.

Information, not legal advice
ClauseWise helps you understand a document. It can misread a clause, and it does not know your full situation. For any decision, talk to a qualified lawyer or a legal aid service.
